چکیده
The Talas Fergana/Karatau Fault, is a major tectonic boundary separating the Kazakh-Turan domain to west from Tian Shan east. During Jurassic, movements along fault led opening of several basins. Still, Mesozoic kinematics and geodynamic mechanism that these basins are largely unconstrained. Located at its southwestern termination, Yarkand-Fergana Basin certainly best exposed however still poorly understood. In this study, we provide new sedimentological description Jurassic series northern part as well palynological data. The Mesozoic palaeorelief of the northern Tian Shan (China)
The Tian Shan range offers a natural laboratory to study orogenic processes. Most of the previous studies focused on either the Paleozoic evolution of the range or its Cenozoic intracontinental evolution linked with the India-Asia collision. In this study, detailed field investigations on the relationship between sedimentary cover and basement constrain the Mesozoic evolution of the northern Ti...
متن کاملApatite fission track age of Mesozoic sandstones from Beipiao basin, eastern China: Implications for basin provenance and tectonic evolution
The apatite fission track (FT) analysis of Jurassic sandstones from the Beipiao basin in the eastern China indicates a large variation in FT age peaks. The sandstone of the Beipiao Formation has two peak ages at 178.8 and 40.0 Ma, while the sandstone of the Tuchengzi Formation has three age peaks at 152.0, 77.5 and 32.5 Ma. This implies that the provenance of the Beipiao basin in the early Jura...

Mesozoic basin inversion in Central Alborz, evidence from the evolution of Taleqan-Gajereh-Lar paleograben
This paper presents evidence on Mesozoic inversion of basin bounding faults within the Taleqan-Gajereh-Lar Paleograben (TGLP) in Central Alborz Range. For this purpose, well documented stratigraphy data across the TGLP together with the new acquired structural data on the geometry and kinematics of the paleograben basin bounding faults are utilized. The TGLP has evolved through the Early and Mi...
متن کاملon the comparison of keyword and semantic-context methods of learning new vocabulary meaning
the rationale behind the present study is that particular learning strategies produce more effective results when applied together. the present study tried to investigate the efficiency of the semantic-context strategy alone with a technique called, keyword method. to clarify the point, the current study seeked to find answer to the following question: are the keyword and semantic-context metho...
